What a lovely evening the launch of the Lane Cove Literary Awards, An Anthology was. It was well attended and very well catered for. The team at Lane Cove Library really know how to do it.

The award has been running since 2014 and in 2021 received 590 entries. 

I was very honoured to be selected as the winner of the memoir prize for Only Skin Deep.  Evidence that The Girl in the Striped Jumper is a manuscript worth completing.

Again, thanks to the Lane Cove Literary Award team for your hard work and dedication to promoting writing. If you’re just starting out on your writing journey, I highly recommend entering this prestigious award. You may not win the first time it took me a few years—but with persistence comes achievement.
